Teaching in Nepal
Teaching at the Bhumeshwor Lower Secondary College in remote Nepal had a significant impact on me as an educator. Being immersed in a remote village community and teaching English language learners from diverse backgrounds was enriching and inspirational as I developed life long skills and knowledge both on a professional and personal level.

My teaching colleague and I embarked on an English Language project that involved the creation of a music video to the 'Happy Song' by Pharrell Williams.
This project involved an integrated unit based on the English language needs of our students. Through lessons in word study, grammar, reading, conversation, drama, art and ICT we learned the 'Happy' song, designed choreography and made a music video as a class.
